Paramount Skydance Will Remove Around 2,000 US Jobs – News
Paramount Skydance plans to begin large-scale job cuts during the week starting 27 October, eliminating approximately 2,000 positions in the United States within a expense reduction strategy valued at $2bn led by CEO David Ellison.
These job cuts follow the merger between Skydance Media and Paramount Global, completed this past August worth $8.4bn.
Further international job cuts are anticipated, as the firm aiming to disclose complete information during its third-quarter financial update on 10 November.
Previous updates stated the firm planned to cut from 2,000 to 3,000 roles before the start of November.
